Abstract Submission
All students and Post-Docs attending the meeting are encouraged to submit an abstract of their work for presentation in the format of a poster during the poster session. A prize will be awarded for the best submitted poster. Please note: it is not necessary to submit an abstract in order to attend the meeting.
Bursaries
A small number of bursaries to help with the financial cost of attending the meeting will available to students registered on a PhD or equivalent programme. The bursary will cover the cost of registration and standard accommodation (including all meals), but not transport to and from the meeting. Students can apply for a bursary by submitting an abstract of their work via the online registration form. The deadline for this is Friday 14 October 2011 and successful applicants will be notified shortly after this date.
Submitting the abstract
Abstracts are to be submitted via the online registration form. Although it is not necessary to submit your abstract at the time of registering for the meeting, abstracts must be submitted before 23.59 (GMT) on Friday 18 November.
Abstract style guide
• Abstracts must be submitted in English.
• Abstracts must not exceed 2000 characters, including spaces.
• Abstract font must be “Arial point 10”.
• Graphics and tables are not permitted.
• Scientific symbols must be expressed in plain text, e.g. β should be written as “TGF-beta”.
• Author names and affiliations must be listed in the designated boxes, rather than the Abstract Text box.
• Please check the spelling and grammar carefully as your abstract will be reproduced for printing from your online submission.
