Bursary applicants must be registered on a PhD or equivalent programme and submit an abstract for poster presentation.
What does a bursary include?
The bursary pays for registration and standard accommodation (including all meals) for the duration of the meeting. Transport is not included.
Which train should I take, and when is it best to arrive for the meeting?
It is best to arrive at Coventry train station at about noon. For train times check the National Rail website. The train station is a 10 min taxi ride away from the campus (University of Warwick). This will give you enough time to make yourself familiar with the campus, and have lunch before the first session kicks off at 2pm (all meals, including Monday and Wednesday lunch are included in the accommodation fee). Check-in to the rooms will only be available from 4pm.

Information regarding receipt of bursary?
Students will be informed by email as soon as the decision is made following the bursary application deadline on of Friday 14 October 2011.
Is there a reduction if I can only attend part of the meeting?
Unfortunately not; the full fee applies.
Can I get a receipt for my payment to attend the meeting?
Receipts will be issued electronically via email and this will be the only form of receipt.
How will I find out if my abstract is accepted?
All abstracts are accepted for poster presentation. You will receive an email confirming that we have received your abstract by 21 November. If you do not receive confirmation of receipt by this date, please contact Neil Perkins.
When does the conference start and finish?
The conference starts at lunchtime on Monday and ends at lunch time on Wednesday.
How do I get to Warwick University?
Directions can be found on the Warwick University website.
What size should my poster be?
Your poster should be no greater than 90cm x 90cm.
How do I attach my poster to the boards at the exhibition?
Posters are to be attached by velcro dot only. Please note that there will only be a limited supply of velcro dots at the meeting, and so it is advised that delegates presenting a poster bring their own supply.
When can I put up my poster and take it down?
You can put up posters from 8.30am on Tuesday and you must take down posters by 7.45pm on Tuesday, after the judging has taken place.
When do I have to attend my poster?
Between 4.45pm and 6.30pm on the Tuesday, when judging will take place. The speakers and committee members judge the posters, this will be your opportunity to discuss your work with them.
Is there any car parking at the conference venue?
University car parks can be found on the campus map. Car parking is free on site during the meeting in all but the short-term car parks.
What methods of payment can I use?
Payment is online and by credit card only. Cheques will not be accepted.
Does registration include meals?
Meals are included only for residential participants. If you choose registration without accommodation, this covers tea and coffee breaks, but does not include any meals. There are, however, several cafés and bars on site.
Can I have meals included without accommodation?
Unfortunately, this is cost-prohibitive and therefore we can not provide it as a option.
Receipt of attendance
Delegates requiring a receipt of attendance must advise Patti Pinto before the meeting, in order to receive a confirmation of attendance at the meeting.
